MF's bonnet concept made from flax

Massey Ferguson moves onto the road towards sustainability. During the recently held SIMA international trade fair in Paris, the company displayed a bonnet concept of an MF 8S, made from flax.  Its natural resin and easily recycled production process, results in an 82% reduction in carbon emissions.

The flax for this bonnet is grown within 150 km from the Beauvais factory in France, which not only reduces transport distances, but also creates a virtuous production circle. It creates a new business opportunity for farmers, who grow the crops from which a by-product is used to make the bonnets for their tractors.
